The Hamburg Township Public Safety Department will be holding a Public Safety Open House on Sunday, September 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station 12, 10100 Veterans Memorial Drive, off of M-36, west of Hamburg Road.
The family-friendly event will include participation by Livingston County Central Dispatch, Livingston County EMS, U of M Survival Flight, Livingston County Dive Team, Technical Rescue Team, DART, Michigan DNR, and Corrigan Oil.
A Vehicle Extrication demonstration will take place at 10:45 a.m. with a Survival Flight Landing at Noon and a Sprinkler Demonstration at 1 p.m.
Kids events will include Fire / Police vehicles on display, a Bounce House, a Smoke House and fire extinguisher demos.
Lunch will be provided with guest cook The Smoke Doctor cooking up hot dogs, along with chips, drinks, and snacks.
