A Fowlerville man has been identified as the driver who was killed Friday morning in a crash near Williamston.
Meridian Township Police told the Lansing State Journal that 74-year-old Thomas William Maynard was pronounced dead at the scene after the van he was driving hit a tree at about 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Zimmer Road and Wild Cherry Drive.

Meanwhile, visitation for Maynard will take place Tuesday, July 11th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home, 1005 E. Grand River, Fowlerville, and then again from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. in Wednesday, July 12th. Services will then follow.
