Flamin’ Hot Pop Wants People To Go To Hell

A tiny Livingston County hamlet will be Ground Zero next weekend for aficionados of hot beverages.

No, it’s not hot cocoa that will be celebrated in Hell on Saturday, April 30th, but Mountain Dew Flamin’ Hot, which will become the town’s official drink for the day.

MLive.com reports that the free event will feature DJ Pauly D along with chef and rapper, Action Bronson, who will keep the party going from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

Pat O’Toole, the Chief Marketing Officer for  Mountain Dew, said that when they launched Mountain Dew Flamin’ Hot online last year in limited supply, the product sold out in less than an hour.

“Now, we’re excited to bring it back to our loyal fans by making it available at retailers nationwide and celebrate as the official drink of Hell, Michigan,” he added.

“When Mountain Dew asked me to go to Hell, I thought they were messing with me,” said DJ Pauly D. “But then I realized they wanted my help to make Hell even hotter with my fire beats. There is no one better to bring the heat. Yeaaahhh buddy!”

The one-night bash will feature:

  • Sparky’s Saloon, featuring Mountain Dew Flamin’ Hot inspired mixology for fans 21+ and over.
  • Mountain Dew Flamin’ Hot Grill, where Chef Bronson will be serving a curated VIP menu.
  • Mountain Dew Flamin’ Hot Country Club – a takeover of the local 18-hole putt putt course.
