BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Job seekers across New York City will soon have an opportunity to connect directly with employers and career experts at a major hiring event hosted by the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York. The Brooklyn Hiring Hall is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, offering residents a pathway to new employment opportunities before the new year.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, located at 140 58th Street. Participation is free, but attendees must register in advance to secure a timeslot. Entry will close at 1:30 p.m., organizers confirmed.
What Job Seekers Can Expect
The hiring hall aims to connect individuals with employers from various industries across New York City — including both public and private sector organizations. Career service providers will also be present to offer resume assistance, interview preparation, and job readiness support.
Some employers will conduct on-the-spot interviews, offering participants the chance to secure employment immediately. However, organizers note that interviews are not guaranteed for every attendee.
How to Prepare
Job seekers planning to attend should come dressed in professional or business attire and bring a valid photo ID along with multiple copies of their resume. Being prepared and arriving on time will help attendees make the most of their visit.
Those who haven’t yet registered should act quickly, as space may be limited due to timeslot scheduling.
