The Hartland High School graduate who was critically injured in the MSU shooting has been identified.
The family of Nate Statly created a GoFundMe page for the junior at Michigan State who remains at Sparrow Hospital in critical condition,.
“Doctors have informed us that his path to recovery will be a long and difficult one,” his brother Josh Statly wrote.
Hartland Consolidated Schools Superintendent Chuck Hughes said last week that a 2020 graduate of Hartland High School was among the shooting victims, although he declined to share further information.
Killed in the attack were Arielle Anderson of Harper Woods, Brian Fraser of Grosse Pointe and Alexandria Verner of Clawson.
