You may find “Grata at Totem Lake” on Totem Lake Way. Apartment sizes range from studios to four bedrooms among the 125 units.
It is the first Kirkland affordable housing neighborhood to use funds from the “Amazon Housing Equity Fund,” according to city authorities.
In January 2021, Amazon established the $2 billion Housing Equity Fund to build and maintain affordable housing in the Puget Sound area.
With the addition of $1.4 billion in June, Amazon raised almost $3.6 billion.

Collaborating with Sound Transit and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to build residences near public transit sites is part of Amazon’s commitment.
Located in Northgate, a few blocks from the local transit station, Amazon had previously announced the construction of a 6-story, 184-unit affordable housing project.
