The crash of a motorbike and an SUV in East Harlem early Sunday morning claimed the lives of a man and a woman.
Near E. 106th St. and Third Ave. at approximately 4:40 a.m., a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were involved in a motorcycle accident with a driver of a Toyota RAV4, according to the police.
Fatalities befell the two horsemen. Police stated the driver of the Toyota was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is said to be in stable condition.
The early Sunday crash remains under investigation by police.

As of October 6th, out of 195 traffic fatalities in the city this year, 35 were attributed to motorcycles.
According to NYPD statistics, 30 out of 198 road fatalities in the same period in 2023 were attributed to motorbikes.
