A gravel truck knocked down a fiber optics cable in front of Navigator School early Tuesday afternoon forcing a temporary closure of M-36 between McGregor and Farley Roads.
Officials with Pinckney Community Schools say within less than an hour, M36 was cleared to reopen. They added that Charter/Spectrum Internet was “extremely responsive” and was able to get the wire off the road allowing normal traffic patterns to resume prior to student dismissal.
This is the last week of classes for the district.
