New Orleans – A man from Chalmette, who is 24 years old, has been taken into custody concerning a shooting incident that occurred in a park in New Orleans. The gunshot killed a 15-year-old and wounded another man.
On July 29, near Evans Playground, in the 2100 block of Soniat Street, gunfire erupted at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The two individuals were transported to the hospital, where Tyvien Jirouard, a student at Sophie B. Wright, passed away at the age of fifteen.
A suspect, Yuan Buggage, was named by the police.

Two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder were added to his already lengthy prison sentence for unrelated convictions. A bond of $1.25 million was imposed on him.
Judgment documents show that Buggage was taken into custody on August 1 and charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, one crime of child desertion, one offense of felon possession of a firearm, and one case of illegal possession of stolen property.
