Double Attack! Kansas City Man Charged After Threatening to Shoot Two Kansas City Chiefs

A guy from Illinois is facing criminal charges following allegations that he threatened to shoot two individuals affiliated with the Kansas City Chiefs organization while attending a Morgan Wallen performance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Making a second-degree terroristic threat is a Class E felony that 23-year-old Aaron Brown of Winchester, Illinois, is facing. On Saturday, Brown was placed on bond with a bond of $15,000.

Legal papers show that on Friday, detectives and intelligence analysts from the Kansas City Fusion Center were at Arrowhead Stadium’s GEHA Field keeping an eye out for potential threats during the event.

Two members of the Chiefs group were the targets of a threat that the officers discovered posted on X. The papers failed to name these people.

The show had to be postponed by about 40 minutes before Brown was finally taken into custody by the police.

According to the court records, Brown and his girlfriend were apprehended by plainclothes cops as they were walking toward the main corridor of the floor at approximately 9:30 p.m. After Brown came forward to identify himself to the police, he was first detained for further investigation on suspicion of making terrorist threats.

Reportedly, Brown’s fiancée told investigators that he and his friends create anonymous, temporary accounts called “burners” to publish “stupid stuff.” She went on to say that she had warned him not to publish the post, but he insisted no one would read it anyhow.

A local outlet stated that Brown, who is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings, posted the post, according to the affidavit. It was supposedly a “stupid, stupid mistake” that Brown referred to.

According to the court records, Brown is not currently a fugitive.

Wallen, clad in a #7 Chiefs jersey (Harrison Butker) bearing the name “Wallen” on the back, was escorted to the stage by the Chiefs’ big three: Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones, as the show finally got underway.
