On a Wednesday morning, a pair from Oklahoma vanished mysteriously during their underwater exploration near the shores of Texas. Following an exhaustive 36-hour search, authorities were on the brink of abandoning their efforts.
Suddenly, a wondrous event took place.
According to Charles Owen, Nathan and Kim Maker from Edmond, Oklahoma, frequently explore the depths through diving adventures. The pair have consistently been cautious in their actions.
The creators vanished while diving with a team in the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday morning.
Owen described how a storm was approaching, causing all the divers to resurface and start getting ready to return to the boat. “While the 16 individuals boarded, a sudden surge of water swept in and surrounded them.”
Nathan and Kim pumped up their safety equipment in an attempt to rise to the surface, but the fierce storm proved too powerful, ultimately claiming them.
According to Owen, the Coast Guard contacted him on Wednesday evening, around 7 p.m., to report that the couple had vanished that same morning.
The quest began, as rescue teams scoured a vast 1,656 square mile area in the Gulf.

Approximately 36 hours later, Owen mentioned that he had been informed that authorities were on the verge of ending their search after thoroughly examining the entire area.
Owen remembered how they had almost lost all hope.
Suddenly, a stroke of luck occurred: a plane, supposedly making its final journey beyond the established boundaries, spotted a mysterious object late on Thursday evening, according to Owen.
Owen mentioned that Nathan and Kim were using their underwater torches to signal an S.O.S. by pointing toward the underside of the plane.
In the early hours of Friday morning, a recent video captured by a Coast Guard plane revealed the presence of two individuals approximately 20 miles away from the Gulf of Mexico coast. The individuals in question were Nathan and Kim Maker.
On its final sweep, the airplane caught sight of them. Next, the boats arrived to assist.
Owen exclaimed, “It’s like witnessing a marvel!”
According to his statement to KFOR, Kim is dealing with an infection, and Nathan was on the brink of a diabetic coma when they located him. Both individuals were extremely parched and had endured numerous jellyfish stings. The family is eagerly anticipating the swift return of Kim and Nathan to their home.
Owen expressed gratitude for the care and prayers from everyone. The Coast Guard carried out this extraordinary feat under the guidance of God.
