A celebration is set next month for Livingston County Veterans Services new space in Genoa Township.
Located at 1420 Lawson Drive, the new office will be commemorated with a ribbon cutting celebration followed by office tours at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8.
The public will also have the opportunity to meet staff members, including the office’s new director, Ramon Baca.
“Now that we are fully staffed, our team is excited to provide services to more veterans in a timelier manner, as well as bring into action new initiatives from which veterans and their families can benefit,” Baca told The Livingston Post.
In September, Baca and his team hope to use the large meeting areas to host educational workshops and knowledgeable speakers to help shed light on topics like burial benefits, VA home loans, and more.
