Established in the mid-1950’s and now known as the Spencer J. Hardy Livingston County Airport, the facility features a 5,000 foot runway and nearly 160 public and private hangars with 185 aircraft.
There are, on average, 150 daily takeoffs and landings with more than 6,600 student flight hours logged per year.
More than 1.6 million gallons of aviation fuel have been sold at the airport in the past five years, with a total local economic value of $66.9 million as of 2019.
County officials note that all airport operations and maintenance costs are funded from fuel sales, hangar rentals and land lease revenues and that no taxpayer subsistence is required.
