Travelers on US-23 through Livingston County will be impacted by a full freeway closure this weekend.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says that southbound US-23 will be completely closed from Clyde Road to M-59 in Hartland Township from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. both Friday and Saturday night.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Traffic will be detoured to Old US-23 at Clyde Road and then back onto the freeway at M-59.
