The Howell Chamber of Commerce invited the press and event sponsors to a preview of the 38th annual Michigan Challenge Balloonfest.
Over thirty-eight years, Balloonfest has become a time-honored tradition for Livingston County and beyond, and fan-favorite events (such as the Friday fireworks and the Saturday night balloon glow) are returning for 2023. The festival also features a Family Fun Tent, an open-air marketplace, and a carnival.
The Chamber of Commerce is also debuting the Balloonfest app, which provides an interactive map and push notifications for launch times and weather.
The Balloons and Brews fundraiser for Fantasy of Lights is also back for a second year. Hosted by the Howell Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place in Downtown Howell from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th.
The festival will be held from June 23rd through 25th. Admission is $5 per person per day, with an additional fee for carnival entry.
