According to investigators, a man from California who was allegedly involved in a drunk driving accident that resulted in the death of a woman confessed to having “driven more intoxicated” than this prior to the incident.
According to court paperwork obtained by KGET, 25-year-old Martin Alameda Sanchez was allegedly involved in a collision with a parked car in Bakersfield while driving without a license. According to the authorities, the car’s driver was killed and another passenger was hurt.
Prosecutors claim that after the incident on September 28, Sanchez informed them that he had consumed twelve beers prior to driving, as stated in court records.
According to reports, Sanchez had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.257, which is almost three times the legal limit.
According to the documents acquired by KGET, an investigator noted, “Sanchez also stated he knows he was too impaired to drive on this date.” “When asked if this is too dangerous, he replied by saying he has driven more intoxicated in the past.”
