A celebration of life will be held next month to honor what would have been Brock Meader’s 11th birthday.
The 10-year-old boy passed away in July after a battle with cancer. Brock, who lived in Stockbridge, previously lived in Howell for 8 years and attended Howell Public Schools.
To help honor his legacy of generosity, friends and family will be holding an “11th Heavenly Birthday” on Saturday, November 5th at Challenger Elementary School in Howell from 1-5 p.m.
There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a spaghetti dinner (kids 5 & under are free). There will also be entertainment, and as the organizers put it, “laughter, and joy.” All proceeds will go to Fund a Life to provide grants for families fighting childhood cancer at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
