A Brighton pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle Thursday.
The Brighton City Police Department reports that at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian injury crash on Brighton Lake Road and E. Grand River Ave.
A subsequent investigation indicated that the driver of a Ford Flex was traveling eastbound on Brighton Lake Road turning onto E. Grand River Ave. The driver did not see the pedestrian and struck them. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by Livingston County EMS. The extent of the pedestrians’ injuries are unknown at this time, however the pedestrian is expected to make full recovery.
Drugs, alcohol, and speed did not contribute to the accident.
