Entries are still being sought for the Brighton 4th of July Parade.

The annual event will have a new route this year that will start at the Brighton Meijer on Second and Cross Streets, head down through the City of Brighton, and then up Main Street finishing at Brighton High School.

Organizers say they will accept entries up until the Monday, July 3rd at Noon. Details can be found by CLICKING HERE.

While the parade itself will start on Tuesday at 10 a.m., there will be a variety of all ages activates at Main and First Streets starting at 8:30 a.m. with a community picture at 9:45.

The 17th Annual Hungry Duck race will also take place on the 4th, beginning at 7 a.m. Proceeds will benefit local non-profit partners in the fight against hunger.

After the parade the Brighton Community can see Brighton’s largest sprinkler with the Brighton Area Fire Authority at First and Main.
