A new Executive Director of Livingston County Catholic Charities has been named by Bishop Earl Boyea of Lansing.
Adam Perry will succeed Mark Robinson, who is retiring on April 28 following more than 22 years of service in leading the organization.
Perry, who earned his Masters in Social Work degree at the University of Michigan, currently serves as the Director of the Center for the Works of Mercy in Detroit, a program of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM). He previously served as the Fund Development Manager at CCSEM.
According to a release by the Lansing Diocese, Perry’s professional experience includes serving as the Director of Christian Service at Holy Family Parish in Novi and a year of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, in which he managed a soup kitchen and homeless placement program in New York City.
Perry will begin as the Executive Director of Livingston County Catholic Charities on February 27.
