According to ValleyCentral… After more than 36 hours adrift in the waters off the Texas coast, two divers were saved.
During the afternoon of Wednesday, watch personnel from Sector Corpus Christi were informed by the Coast Guard that the two divers had been spotted on the surface in “adverse weather conditions.”
Once the conditions improved, the divers vanished without a trace.

A helicopter, airplane, and boat were sent out by the emergency responders to locate the divers.
During a span of 36 hours, the U.S. Coast Guard combed through a total of 1,656 square miles in their search efforts.
Not long after, the aircrew of the aircraft caught sight of a blinking light in the sea as they scoured the area and located the divers.
The divers were taken to the Coast Guard Station Freeport and their condition was last reported as stable.
