AVONDALE, Ohio —
Earlier this week, in Avondale, a guy was shot. Near the 3700 block of Reading Road, it occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m.
Officers discovered a man, perhaps in his 30s, with a gunshot wound to the chest when they arrived at the scene. Transferred to UC Medical Center, the sufferer is currently described as being in a critical state.
A potential suspect has been apprehended for interrogation by the police.
The gunshot has heightened the worry of Avondale residents, who have been vocal about their concerns about the increase in violent incidents in the region. In response to the rising fear, prominent members of the community are demanding more security measures and more frequent patrols.
