An event is returning that for nearly three decades has been raising money and awareness to help empower local individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
The 29th Annual Holiday Fashion Show, benefiting The Arc Livingston, will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Crystal Gardens, 5768 East Grand River Avenue, in Howell.
The event is returning to an in-person format for the first time since 2019.
“We are all thrilled to be coming together in-person this year. After the last few years, we hope that everyone will join us for this wonderful event,” said Executive Director, Carol Taggart.
The fashion show’s goal is to raise $100,000 for The Arc Livingston’s mission: “to empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to ensure that they as citizens are valued, and that they can participate fully in, and contribute to, the life of their community.”
Tickets are $100 per person with sponsorship opportunities still available.
In addition to the in-person “glitz and glam” that the Holiday Fashion Show is known for, the evening will include dinner, musical entertainment, open bar, live and silent auctions, and a showcasing of holiday fashions by Beverly Rae’s and Brighton Tux Shop.

Second prize is a Diamond Circle Pendant set in 14 karat white and yellow gold by Zeghani, valued at $1,320. Third prize is a pair of Pink Freshwater Pearl and Morganite Earrings, set in 14 karat rose gold, valued at $985.
Raffle tickets are available at Cooper & Binkley Jewelers in Brighton and at The Arc Livingston office, located at 2980 Dorr Road, Brighton.
Ms. Taggart said, “A new sponsorship opportunity is support for Arc Member and Arc Model tables. These sponsorships will allow us to include members that may not be able to afford to attend our event, but they are an important part of our work. Our member models and their guests are included in our event, and sponsors for their tables are also encouraged. We hope to have several sponsors support this new opportunity to be a part of our event.”
