A mother’s worst nightmare has come true: her kid escaped from daycare and disappeared into a local store, completely unnoticed.
Jasmine Najee said that on Tuesday her son Sir Paxton, who is three years old, disappeared from the Alabama Kiddie Care Learning Center. She explained to 14 News that when he requested to use the restroom, they instructed him to do it alone.
The youngster exited through the back door and deftly climbed over a six-foot fence; the door leading to the playground was just beyond the toilet.
According to his mother’s heartbreaking recollection, the unattended 3-year-old made it across the street and into a Walmart Neighborhood Market after he escaped from the daycare.
After Sir Paxton had perused the aisles for twenty to twenty-five minutes, a friend of the family who worked there noticed him making his way to the register with a Hot Wheels toy and some nibbles.

Sir Paxton allegedly departed the daycare at 4:07 p.m., as shown by the surveillance cameras, according to Najee. Najee stated that she did not hear from the daycare about what had transpired until approximately 5 o’clock in the afternoon, even though the police were alerted to the incident at approximately 4:30 p.m.

A youngster’s first thought upon arriving at the daycare was, “What am I going to do with myself?” rather than asking, “Is he okay?” they asked that the police not be summoned. may he be hurt?
Najee is relieved her son was unharmed in the incident, even though she is frustrated. “We might be mourning his passing,” she remarked. However, she is furious because, according to her, the daycare sent out an email where the youngster was blamed for the event.

“Neglect did occur,” she affirmed. “Some form of not being accountable did happen, and you sent out an email and pretty much you’re holding my three-year-old accountable for wanting to go to Walmart to get snacks and Hot Wheels but he shouldn’t be able to act on it.”
In light of the events on that day, Kishia Saffold, owner of Kiddie Care Learning Center, has extended an apology. Concerning the children in their care, their parents, and everyone else impacted by this event, Saffold expressed her deepest apologies.
“As the owner and director, I am fully accountable for our inability to guarantee the safety of individuals entrusted to our care – a responsibility that I have consistently prioritized.” According to Saffold, we will also be updating our security procedures.
