MJP –

The third generation of Nissan’s full-size SUV will arrive soon with comprehensive updates, including an all-new Pro-4X that’s tailored to the outdoors. And now we know how much it costs.

The 2025 Nissan Armada Pro-4X carries a serious bit of kit

The 2025 Nissan Armada Pro-4X will carry a sticker price of $75,750, including destination and handling. For that, you get dedicated off-road hardware including Intelligent 4WD with an electronic locking rear differential, adaptive air suspension, 20-inch wheels wearing 275/60R20 all-terrain tires, underbody skid plate, eight selectable drive modes with hill descent control, and a unique front-end design that’s been revised for a greater approach angle.

The air suspension will raise the Armada for up to 9.6 inches of ground clearance, allowing an approach angle of 33 degrees, a break-over angle of 25.5 degrees, and a departure angle of 24.5 degrees. An Off-road Information Display shows your inclinometer, as well as your slip and steering angle indicators.

Visual enhancements unique to the Armada Pro-4X include LED fog lights, with Lava Red accents enhancing the black fender flares, black-painted mirror covers, roof rails, grille, and interior trimmings.

The Pro-4X trim sits near the top of the price ladder, two below the Platinum Reserve 4×2 and Platinum Reserve 4×4, which carry an MSRP of $79,000 and $82,000 respectively. At the low end, the Armada SV 4×2 carries over the exact same base price as the 2024 model at $58,530.

The base Armada SV starts you off with 18-inch wheels and active safety tech that Nissan calls ProPILOT assist and Safety Shield 360. Up next is the Armada SV which unlocks more paint colors, as well as throws in 20-inch wheels, heated front seats, captain’s chairs for the second row, power-folding third row, a 360-degree camera, Klipsch stereo with 12 speakers, Google Built-In, and a head-up display.

The top-of-the-line Nissan Armada Platinum brings opulence and value

The Armada Platinum is where things start to get luxurious, with quilted leather seats that are heated and ventilated in the first two rows. The touchscreen display grows to 14.3 inches, along with a panoramic sunroof and powered liftgate that’s motion-activated. Lastly, the Armada Platinum Reserve brings adaptive air suspension to pair with 22-inch wheels as well as massaging front seats to achieve maximum comfort.

In terms of the equipment roster, the Armada Pro-4X sits somewhere in between the Platinum and Platinum Reserve. Rear-wheel-drive (RWD) is standard while four-wheel-drive (4WD) is available for $3,000 on every trim apart from the Pro-4X, where the AWD system is standard.

No matter the trim level, every Armada utilizes an all-new 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This setup is good for 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, which unlocks a tow capacity of 8,500 pounds. All trims receive a Class IV tow hitch with a 7-pin harness.

Final thoughts

The MSRP of the 2025 Nissan Armada lineup is comparable with competition like the Chevrolet Tahoe and Jeep Wagoneer.

However, the Pro-4X model seems like a promising prospect, combining new off-road prowess with luxury features for a unique value that its platform sibling in the Infiniti QX80 would struggle to match.

The 2025 Nissan Armada will land in dealerships this December.
