The alleged heist occurred in August at a hotel in Orlando, Florida, and involved a man assuming the identity of a police officer.
The woman he befriended in a hotel room fell for New York resident Michael Rodriguez, 27, who allegedly pretended to be an officer.
The lady claims that when Rodriguez gained access to her room, he took her money and bound her. There was a firearm on Rodriguez’s person. The footage from the hotel’s camera system corroborates the victim’s statements.

For a comparable offense, Rodriguez was wanted in Lantana.
The identical vehicle the suspect was riding in was found at the scenes of the two separate incidents in Lantana and Orlando.
More evidence, including handcuffs and a counterfeit badge, was discovered on him.
He will face accusations of committing a felony with a weapon while falsely impersonating an officer in Orange County, where he is currently awaiting extradition.
