MJP –

Are you a resident of one of the ten most impolite cities in America?

It appears that several things contribute to a city’s roughness. Locals may be more abrupt and hostile than average depending on factors including climate, population density, and stress levels.

For whatever reason, one city in Pennsylvania cracked the top ten.

Philly ranks as the tenth most impolite city in Pennsylvania, according to a list made by Clever Real Estate.

Not only that, but Buffalo, New York, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland also made the cut.

In terms of national trends among the most impolite cities in the United States, here is what Clever Real Estate had to say:

Americans often lament that city dwellers are the most impolite because they just do not have the time to be pleasant. Plus, eight of those ten places are in the Northeast or Northern Hemisphere, where winters are almost as frigid as the people who live there.

New York was ranked as the rudest state by Americans, closely followed by New Jersey, which is not surprising given that New York City was named the rudest city.

Due to the high levels of stress and the rapid pace of the work, employees may be less than friendly due to their impatience and directness of speech.
