USDA has announced that there will be a 2025 COLA increase for SNAP benefits in the 48 contiguous States. Apart from these States, Alaska, Guam, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands will soon have higher maximum amounts.
Nevertheless, if you are receiving SNAP benefits in Hawaii, you will get a reduction. Unfortunately, Food Stamps will decrease in Hawaii. This is why recipients should never take a COLA boost for granted.
