Aldi, which is a grocery chain with plenty of discounts, is gearing up for the holiday season with a significant workforce expansion. The company plans to add an impressive 13,000 new workers, alongside raising the average hourly wage to an attractive $23.
The new positions will be available in both stores and warehouses, according to Aldi’s recent announcement. Starting wages will range from $18 to $23 per hour, depending on the market and the specific role.

Currently, Aldi employs over 49,000 individuals and operates more than 2,000 stores across 36 states. Therefore, there will be a significant increase in the number of workers.
“Whether it’s our in-store team filling shelves with fresh produce, warehouse staff managing logistics, or drivers delivering our trending ALDI Finds, our employees fuel the quicker, easier, and more affordable shopping experience our shoppers know and love,” said Atty McGrath, president of ALDI, in a statement.
