If you are 18-64 years old and you are receiving Supplemental Security Income, your next SSI payment will be due on August 30, 2024. Keep in mind that this direct deposit will only be for eligible recipients who have already applied and got approval.
SSI is a Federal payment for low-income couples and individuals who have a disability, are blind, or are at least 65 years old. Therefore, if you are 18 to 64 years old, you must be blind or cannot collect Supplemental Security Income.
$742 for SSI recipients aged 18-64
The Social Security Administration claims that the average payment for 18 to 64-year-olds is worth $742. This does not mean that you are entitled to that amount.
Eligible recipients can get up to $943 if they are an individual. Eligible married couples can receive up to $1,415. As you can see, it is not double the amount an individual receives since it would be $1,886.
It is true that if you have other sources of earnings, you may qualify for a much lower payment. So, $742 is the amount applicants and recipients can have as a reference to see if their payment is either average or not.

Next payment dates for SSI recipients in the U.S.
The next payment date for Supplemental Security Income will be on August 30, 2024. This is the September check or direct deposit sent in advance because Sunday, September 1 is not a possible payday.
SSA offices are not open. What is more, banks are closed as well. The Administration has scheduled other SSI payments for October and November 1, 2024. So, there will not be changes regarding the next 2 upcoming paydays.
However, the Supplemental Security Income payment for December will not be issued on the 1st. It will be sent 48 hours ahead of schedule. Once more, the first day of the month falls on the weekend and it had to be rescheduled. So, the December payment will be due on November 29, 2024.
