A man from Ohio is currently being held without bail on allegations of attacking his fiancée in Ohio. He allegedly fled to Coventry and Woonsocket, where he attempted to abduct and assault an 80-year-old woman.
Following a high-speed pursuit, Steven Henning was apprehended in Providence on Sunday, according to the State Attorney General.
Multiple towns in Rhode Island and Ohio have filed charges against him.
The incident was said to have occurred. The suspect allegedly kidnapped and violently assaulted the accused victim, according to the police. The victim escaped and ran for help, which prompted the police to rush over.
