In the city of Tampa, Florida:
Starting on July 31, Florida drivers can expect modifications to the process of obtaining, replacing, or renewing their driver’s license or identification cards.
As per the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, a recent regulation will mandate that driver’s license numbers must contain a minimum of four randomly assigned digits.
A rapper from Polk County was discovered with both a bible and drugs in his possession after being caught driving at almost 100 mph on the highway.
The arbitrary numbers will safeguard the identities of Floridians and enhance security measures.
The number will remain the same unless there is a modification in the customer’s surname.
“I don’t perceive any issues with it. I fail to comprehend how it could inconvenience anyone if it’s for security reasons, you know? Therefore, I fully support it,” expressed a driver from Florida in an interview with NBC affiliate WBBH.
