KENDALL COUNTY, Ill. — The Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau is helping residents get into the Christmas spirit with its beloved Annual Christmas Container Program, set for Monday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m.
Hosted at the Farm Bureau office in Morris, the festive workshop will be led by Nancy Kuhajda and will give participants a chance to craft their own fresh evergreen arrangements using a mix of greenery, pinecones, berries, ribbons, and other decorative accents.
A Hands-On Holiday Tradition
The Farm Bureau’s Christmas workshop has become a cherished local tradition, offering community members a creative way to prepare for the holidays while enjoying a relaxed, social evening.
“It’s a fun and festive way to kick off the season and bring people together,” organizers said, noting that the workshop always fills up fast.
Registration Details
Participation costs $25 per person, which includes all materials and supplies needed for the project. Due to limited space and strong community interest, early registration is encouraged.
Residents can reserve their spot by calling the Kendall-Grundy Farm Bureau at 815-942-6400.
Supporting Local Agriculture and Community Spirit
Beyond the crafts, the Annual Christmas Container Program highlights the Farm Bureau’s ongoing efforts to connect the community through hands-on agricultural education and holiday activities.
The event blends creativity, tradition, and community — a hallmark of Kendall County’s holiday season.
