While there hasn’t been an official statement on whether or when the club will reopen, there’s hope among golfers that it might happen soon.
The golf course was purchased by a new owner in early 2024.
According to NJ.com, the sale was finalized in February, with the course being bought for $2.25 million. Before this, the course had fallen into tough times and had to close.
The new owner, Frank Ruocco, is also involved with the Greate Bay Country Club in Somers Point.
Despite no official announcements on the reopening, there’s optimism for the future.
Having played at Mays Landing Golf and Country Club in the past, I always found it to be an enjoyable experience, and I hope others will get the same opportunity soon.
