On Friday morning, a fire swept through the Bryant Park holiday market in Manhattan, engulfing entire stalls in flames.
Videos captured the dramatic scene, showing smoke and fire spreading across the market. The cause of the blaze is still unknown, and the New York Fire Department (FDNY) has confirmed that an investigation is underway.
The fire started around 9:30 a.m. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
According to an FDNY spokesperson, the fire measured roughly six feet wide and stretched 40 feet long at its peak. Social media users quickly shared videos of the incident, making it go viral within hours.
Due to the damage, the Bryant Park market has been closed indefinitely. New York City Emergency Management has asked the public to stay away from the area and warned of potential traffic delays while the investigation continues.

This is the second fire to hit a New York City holiday market this season. Just over a week ago, a blaze destroyed part of the Herald Square festive shopping area.
That fire affected 18 shops, with merchandise ranging from clothing to glass ornaments reduced to ashes.
The back-to-back fires have left vendors and shoppers shaken, raising concerns about safety measures at these popular holiday destinations.
