PHOENIX —
The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona announced on Friday that a 33-month jail term had been handed down to a Tucson man for his role in narcotics cross-border delivery.
According to a release, in May 2019, 27-year-old Reynaldo Parra-Villagrana was caught in the possession of 878.8 grams of pure methamphetamine in the parking lot of a sporting goods store.
According to the authorities, Parra-Villagrana was acting on behalf of a drug dealer located in Mexico when he delivered the drugs.

A Tucson attorney, the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force Tucson, and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s long-running investigation led to the undercover officer’s conviction.
Included in the sentence is five years of supervised release.
