Another 150 stores will be closing their doors soon, according to a well-known department store that sells everything from apparel and shoes to housewares, furniture, and gifts.
They not only put on famous events like the Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Fourth of July fireworks display, but they are also famous for fashion, beauty, and home needs.

It was MACY’S that was involved, in case you missed it during the Thanksgiving Day Parade. It has not been revealed which stores will be closed just yet, despite having sites across the US, including multiple in California, Nevada, and Utah.
To remain in business, this is only the latest example of a large retailer going out of business. A lot of other stores have gone out of business recently as well, including Big Lots!, Joann, Rue21, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Joann.

With more and more consumers preferring to purchase online, Macy’s isn’t finding much value in maintaining a physical storefront, and Utah has already seen one of their Macy’s collapse in recent years.

No word yet on what will happen to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade or the July 4th fireworks display, but it’s hard to imagine that anything would happen to such a long-standing American tradition. Hopefully, in a few months, the doors to your beloved Macy’s will still be open.
